SunPayus takes FUT into the Bucharest playoffs: 3-0 in the Swiss stage after toppling Vitality

A month ago, Álvaro "SunPayus" García had spent three months without playing on G2's bench. Today, his new team is the first to qualify for the PGL Masters Bucharest playoffs. FUT completed the Swiss stage 3-0 after beating Vitality, the world's number two side, 2-1.
How the match went
The start wasn't what they wanted. Vitality took Mirage, FUT's pick, 13-9, with ZywOo posting 22 kills to 12 deaths. Even in defeat, SunPayus was his team's best player on the map, with a 1.44 rating.
FUT hit back on Dust2, Vitality's pick. They won it 13-10, and one of the rounds that swung it was a 2v4 that Krabeni and SunPayus managed to close out.
The decider was played on Anubis, and Vitality seemed to have it in hand after going 8-4 up on the CT side. But in the second half they struggled badly to attack without apEX, winning just two rounds as Terrorists. xfl0ud produced two four-kill holds on B, and FUT closed the map 13-10.
ZywOo was the best player on the server with a 1.38 rating, but it wasn't enough. For FUT, SunPayus finished the series with 49 kills to 34 deaths and a 1.33, and xfl0ud with a 1.27.
"Everything is clicking"
After the match, SunPayus offered two lines that sum up his moment: "Everything is clicking" and "Everyone in this team treats me as a star player."
The numbers back him up. FUT beat TYLOO 2-0, with SunPayus as MVP and a 1.47 on his debut, then Liquid 2-0 and now Vitality. The Spaniard is on a 1.35 rating across seven maps and has won six clutches during the group stage.
His coach, coolio, had already said before the event that he was surprised G2 benched him, because he believes he is "still such a good player."
What's next
FUT now await their quarter-final opponent in a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket. Vitality, for their part, are still alive: at 2-1 they can still qualify.
One curious detail concerns Major stickers. According to eGamersWorld, if FUT were to fall in the quarter-finals, the team's Singapore Major sticker would still belong to cmtry, the player SunPayus replaced, while the Spaniard would play the Major without a sticker of his own. Going further in Bucharest would change that.
Meanwhile, his old team is living the opposite story: G2 are 0-2 and play for survival against DENDELE this afternoon.
